Something More To Laughter

Something More To Laughter

Something More To Laughter

To me, there is something more to laughter

Than sweet sound on the summer breeze

Always, there is something more it’s after

As if it were the first frost of a winter freeze

Beware, there is something to the silence

A simple science strikingly

Accounted for before the violence

But over with such lightning speed

To you, it’s true, I made you do it

I tend to push people away

Though, I feel it out of my writ

I’m sure that’s in poor taste to say

Be forewarned, it’s omnipotent

An unknown quotient quantified

And so, it knows if a soul is impotent

By whether the vessel died dignified

Something More To Laughter
